ISR Swim

Beau is taking rescue swimming (Infant Swim Resource) and he is doing SO WELL! Who would have thought that he would be able to swim under water like 4 or 5 feet to you!! He loves it and everyday on our way to swimming he say "POOOOL" it s so so cute (he doesn't really pronounce the L so it sounds more like pooo??) He will also say swimmin' ?? we will tell him yes Buddy we are going to the pool, he always gives us a big smile.

ISR is really the neatest program ever... the number one cause of death in children is drounding. After this program you have almost completely eliminated the risk!! The first few days were kinda rough, but within the first week Beau was swimming pretty well. Now if he was to fall in the pool he can swim well enough to swim to the side of the pool and hang on.

Next he will master floating on his back. ISR teaches children older than a year a swim float swim sequence. So if they are to fall in the water they locate the exit, start swimming under water with eyes open, when they need a breath they roll over and float to rest and breath, then roll face down in the water and continue swimming until they can make it to the exit or side of the pool.

If you have a child under the age of 3 I would highly reccomend this program!
